Hello Pretty People,

If you follow me on social media, you’ll notice that every once in awhile I share snaps or photos of my “project comeback”. You may wonder what I mean by that. Project Comeback is a term I have picked up to refer to the time I use to get my life back on track.

Life gets busy. We can lose track of working out, eating healthy and all around, taking care of ourselves. It happens!

That was last week for me. It’s easy to fall into this and it’s also okay to fall into this. We are human and we do not have to stick to anything that’s uncomfortable. I started back at university this week, which means a change in my schedule. And I say a new schedule calls for new goals!

To me, project comeback isn’t just about getting back in the gym or eating a salad. It’s about getting a clear vision of my goals and doing what it takes to accomplish them. Sometimes that means adjusting my goals and going back to the basics! I’m going to share some of the steps I take to focus my mindset and get my sh*t together.

My Project Comeback

Set New Goals: My schedule has taken a complete 180 from what I was doing this past summer. Therefore, I am setting new goals to accommodate this schedule. I’m also starting my final year of college, that alone calls for some serious goal setting! Time to put the big girl pants on.

Setting new goals is always a refreshing way to refocus yourself and get inspired. If you’re ever feeling a little out of whack, try setting new goals.

Drink More Water: My skin is taking an end of the summer plunge. I did not get as much vitamin D as I would’ve liked this summer, and my skin can agree. Drinking water (lots of water) will rejuvenate the skin and it’s great for your health. Try to drink a glass when you wake up and one before bed.

In general, drinking more water always helps my skin and my energy levels.

Schedule Time to Workout: Working out is not for everyone but I’m not asking that you go to the gym and lift weights. Just get your blood moving. Take a morning walk, do 50 push ups or take a swim. Whatever fits in your lifestyle, do that!

Sometimes I’m not working out to build muscle or lose weight, I’m doing it to cure my anxiety or relieve my stress.

Get Some Sleep: I love sleep! I know how easy it can be to binge watch a tv show or stay up late on your phone, but really try to catch some z’s. Sleep helps your skin, digestion and energy. It’s okay to take a few late nights, however sticking to a sleep schedule will benefit you so much.

Make Time to Blog: Make time to do what you love. This one is personal to me because I have neglected making the proper time to sit down and really write. I love creating content for my readers and it’s a way for me to release some of my own thoughts. Take time to do the things that bring you happiness.

These are just a few of the things that I do to get my life back together. There are days, even weeks, where things just tumble out of control. It’s okay, splurge a little. Just take care of yourself and know when it’s time to get it together.

I challenge you to create your own Project Comeback because we all have off days and we all deserve time to splurge. It’s all about the balance, babes!

You’ve got this!
