Happy Friday y’all! I’m a few days late with this lil update on how my 30 day challenge is going, but that’s OK – it’s been a busy week (finally.)!
So, here’s a lil check in for ya!
How am I doing on my goals?
+ Working out? CHECK! I love working out so I knew this wouldn’t be the worst or hardest part for me. In exciting news, I found 15lb dumbbells and I am SO happy because I’ve needed to go up in weight for a while now but those bad boys have been so scarce because of COVID! I used them for leg day today for the first time and OMG – hallelujah! I just worry that I’m overtraining.
+ Eating? Eh. I’m throwing that “mindful” thing out the window because it just doesn’t work for me. What has worked for me the past few days? Planning out my entire day the night before on my LoseIt app and knowing what I’m eating for each meal and snacks and how many calories/carbs I have left so that if I do want to eat more/have a lil snacky snack, I know what my limits are. And that has been so helpful.
+ Cheat Meals. Oops. Not gonna lie, I’ve had more than one “cheat” or dessert – it’s especially hard on the weekend when I want to be around other people and do things. But, I tried to not beat myself up over it.
+ Weighing Myself Daily? More like every other day. After a few days of weighing myself daily, I’ve stepped back a bit from daily to every other day – not because it makes things hard for me, but because I think I’ve figured out a formula for what does and what does not work for my body.
+ Weekly Measurements. Hasn’t happened. I totally forgot. Oops.
+ Bible Study. I picked one out. I bought it. I just need to open the book.
