Honestly, I’ve never really been a podcast girl until the year 2020 hit. Yeah, I had previously listened to a few sermons here and there and occasionally delved into a stream on YouTube. But this past year was very different in many ways. I found myself with more free time than I knew what to do with and I was left with way too many thoughts to manage.

I came across podcasts early on in 2020. I used the server to listen to some of my favorite authors and motivational speakers. My boss at work mentioned a podcast she had been listening to about health and wellness. Knowing what an advocate I am for healthy living, she gave me the info for the station.

In short, there are a few podcasts that really got me through last year and continue to help me see the light.

Gutsy Health

This is by far my most favorite podcast. The hosts, Tristin & Juanique are truly sincere and knowledgeable about the health field. They speak from true experience and share advice to their audience on how to heal gut inflammation, how to manage stress, good foods to eat, and finding peace internally. I highly recommend listening to this one if you are curious about making a change for your body or are just interested in learning more about being healthy!

Oh That’s Good

One of my favorite things to listen to is interviews. In the Oh That’s Good podcast, Sadie interviews people from all walks of life that come on the show to share advice. This is more of a religious based podcast that aims to inspire and build faith and of course, to see the good.

Beautifully Enough Podcast

I try to focus on doing devotionals in the morning. Sometimes it gets away from me. One of the things that has helped me the most in making sure I get that time in is having a devotional podcast. The Beautifully Enough Podcast is a daily devotional for women. It focuses on sharing the gospel but also applying it to today’s world. Val, the host, is so relatable and really authentic. This podcast helped me grow spiritually in 2020 and continues to this year! Check it out!

What are some of your favorite podcasts? We would love to hear from you!
