This week I wanted to share poems that inspire and motivate living a beautiful life, through triumphs and breakdowns.
As I mentioned in the last set of poems, poetry has been a form of healing for me. I love that I am able to connect with someone else’s words and feel less alone in my journey. Poetry can make us feel different ways, and this week is focused on feeling inspired + happy.
Poems for a Full Life:
“Chase your stars fool, life is short” – Atticus
“The purpose of life isn’t just to be happy. The purpose of life, my love, is to feel. You must understand that your pain is essential.” – Christopher Poindexter
“I would rather have a body full of scars and a head full of memories than a life of regrets and perfect skin.” – Atticus
“Art takes time — Monet grew his gardens before he painted them.” – Atticus
“Stop chasing things that make you lose yourself.” r.h. sin
“This year might have been one of the hardest years you’ve experienced. There were many changes in which have put you in a place of emotional concern. All in all, you’ve remained strong in areas where others may have expected you to fail but you always find a way to survive. You’ll always continue to press forward.” – r.h. Sin
“ You do not just wake up and become the butterfly – growth is a process” – Rupi Kaur
“Watch carefully the magic that occurs when you give a person enough comfort to just be themselves.” – Atticus
These are just a few poems that I’ve come across that inspired me, and I hope they can do that for you too.
Once again, Atticus is one of my favorite poets. These poems are from his book – Love Her Wild
Thank you for reading!
