Hello Love,
Love is in the air this week! Valentine’s day is coming up and everyone is in the mood for some romance and lust. When we think of Valentine’s day, I believe many of us automatically think couples and mushy love stuff. But, what about self-love? Of course you should go on that cute date and enjoy the day with someone you love; but why not make this whole week about love. Loving others and loving yourself.
It is also the most dreaded day of the week: Monday. Therefore, I thought I would put together three affirmations to get you through this Monday and this week. Whether you are single or in a relationship, self-love is always important. To be in love with someone else, you must also love yourself.
Self-love is not selfish, self-love is crucial to your physical and mental health. You should always take care of your mind, body and spirit to the best of your ability.
3 Affirmations for Monday:
- You are enough: We always are doubting ourselves. We allow too many outside factors to influence our own thoughts and beliefs, so much that we underestimate ourselves. You are enough; you are strong and you are beautiful. Stop comparing. Believe in what you are capable of and magical things will happen. When you believe in your own greatness, you attract positive vibes.
- You are amazing: This does not just mean your looks or accomplishments, but who you are as a person and how you take care of your soul. Love your strengths and your weaknesses. Love your flaws, for they make you beautifully unique. Take care of yourself. Embrace other peoples flaws. Eat a balanced diet that energizes you, drink water and treat your skin with care. You inspire others without even knowing it. Just be your amazing self!
- You make things happen: you have goals and dreams that you strive for everyday, you make your dreams a reality. When you are passionate about something you make it happen, nothing stands between you and your goals, except fear. Never let fear inhibit your greatness. Wake up and work hard, everyday. Whatever you are working towards, you will make it happen because you are strong and you are capable. Believe that you can make it happen.
Affirmations are a great way to start your day and jump start your week. Keeping these types of things in mind throughout the day is important for your confidence, happiness and health. I think the world forgets the importance of mental health too often. Taking care of our physical well-being is crucial, but mental health is also crucial to making life beautiful and colorful. Create a list of your own daily affirmations and watch your spirit transform. It’s important to believe in yourself.
I always say its way easier to be happy and positive than it is to be sad and negative. Negativity takes a lot more strength, choose happiness today!
